Springer Nature shares a long history with Uzbekistan scientists and has published more than 4500+ journal articles and 3800+ book chapters and proceedings papers from Uzbekistan. The first journal article written by an Uzbek author A. Wilkins was published in Nature in year 1887 what is now named The Beetle in Motion and then later the first monograph from an author affiliated with the Uzbekistan academic institution was published in 1969.
We remain committed to supporting the way that researchers communicate, collaborate and advance the pace and quality of discovery. Today we are celebrating the collective commitment of working collaboratively with Uzbek scientists who have contributed to global research.
As part of this celebration, Springer Nature is providing free access to content from Uzbek scientists until the end of June 2023, supporting Uzbekistan researchers by maximizing their reputation and their articles to be used and cited globally as much as possible.
