The OAPEN Open Access Books Toolkit is a free online resource for authors in all disciplines around the world who want to find out more about open access book publishing.
The toolkit has been launched by the OAPEN Foundation*, with Springer Nature and the University of Glasgow as founding partners in the project.
There are 30 articles on topics such as:
- What is open access?
- How to choose a publisher
- Copyright and licensing
- Peer review for open access books

The toolkit is easy to use and understand, with content available for the different stages of the research lifecycle. Alongside the articles, you can find FAQs, a glossary, list of keywords and myth busters.
