We are happy to announce that first trials for Springer Nature Video are now available. Springer Nature Video was launched in June 2019 and offers highly educational, peer-reviewed videos created by leading academics, practitioners and thinkers.

The video content ranges from demonstrations of surgical techniques to tailored lecture series as well as interviews with researchers and provides insights, research and training material.

The Springer Nature Video team is currently working on the next video package for the fields of Engineering and Business & Management to be launched in January 2020. The first video package was unveiled in June covering the Springer Nature Collections Medicine and Professional & Applied Computing. Each collection started off with 40 videos expanding to 100 videos by the end of the year.

The videos include links to supporting references in CrossRef and Google Scholar, as well as to related book and journal content on SpringerLink. Rich metadata and full transcripts on the video and the clip-level are also provided, and the videos meet international web accessibility criteria. Springer Nature Video will be available via subscriptions to collections curated by discipline.
