The Egyptian Knowledge Bank (EKB), the national online library, announced on January 2016 that they offer free access to all Egyptian citizens, providing access to more than 92 million people. This large scale initiative was announced by the Egyptian President Abdel El-Fattah El-Sisi.
The national online library is a part of a greater vision: Spreading the culture of knowledge, learning and putting a spotlight on the value of research. A culture that aims for a society who can learn, think and innovate.
It contains various types of resources and different kinds of knowledge. Springer Nature is proud to be a part of this great project. This will help every educator, researcher and student, as well as the general public of Egypt to build their knowledge and advance scientific discovery.
