The Behavioural Sciences and Psychology eBook Collection was launched over a decade ago, quickly becoming the go-to choice for institutions and librarians due to its breadth of coverage. Following the Springer Nature merger in 2015, texts from Springer and Palgrave were combined into one expansive package, evidence-based and timely, Springer books sit well alongside those published by Palgrave, which is known for championing innovative research.
Covering the entire lifespan, from neonatal cognition to geropsychology, books in this collection also feature emerging topics in our rapidly-changing world such as environmental psychology, refugee and immigrant mental health, as well as machine learning and cognitive enhancement. Our books are at the forefront of research at the junction of mind, behaviour, technology, and treatment. Autism research is improving the lives and well-being of children in school and home-settings. Advances in health psychology and behavioural medicine are aiding in the development of more effective assessment and treatment for addictive behaviour. Use of technology in behavioural health is improving the accessibility and quality of psychological services to a wider population.
Globally, demand for psychological research has continued to grow exponentially driven by increased need for these services in hospitals, schools, workplaces, and mental health facilities. The books in this collection are essential resources for researchers, students, and practitioners in both clinical and applied settings.
